I have struggled hardcore this past year with my weight, eating, fitness, all of it. I did the 21 Day Fix back in January and lost almost 10 pounds because of it! It’s an awesome program, so you should definitely check it out.
BUT, I still struggled with the eating part.
Our lives are so fast paced. I always have good intentions and try to make good choices, but inevitably somewhere along the way I slip. And I got tired of slipping and feeling bad. I got tired of starting over and hoping tomorrow would be better.
So I joined Weight Watchers. Again.
I’ve done Weight Watchers a couple of times in my life, and both times I was successful. The first time I did it, I lost almost 65 pounds. CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT? I loved the flexibility that Weight Watchers gave me. I can eat whatever I want, but always choose better choices while on the program because I WANT to. There’s no deprivation of anything. I can have ice cream if I still want, I just have to count the points. It’s easier, it’s flexible, and it fits my lifestyle perfectly.
It always has.
So I wanted to share a recipe here of an old favorite that I am SO GLAD I can still eat!! Mac n Cheese is one of my all time favorite meals. Am I still a kid?? If liking Mac ‘n Cheese makes me one, then YES. This is a low point recipe and pretty much the easiest thing to whip up. Check it out:
* 1 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
* 1 can low fat cheese soup
* 1/2 can water
* 3/4 cup low fat milk
1. Cook noodles according to the package and drain.
2. Return noodles to the pan and add cheese soup, water and milk. Stir well and bring to a boil.
3. Once it’s at a boil, lower the heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Divide up into bowls and ENJOY.
I’m a huge fan!! AND IT’S ONLY FOUR POINTS.
